Dr. Jace James
Dr. James received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of British Columbia in 2018. After graduation, Dr. James moved back to Alberta where he has made Calgary his home.
Growing up, Dr. James was inspired by his family dentist in his hometown Lethbridge, Alberta. He always thought the dental office was an interesting and exciting place. As a dentist, Dr. James strives to make his patients feel this same way. He focuses on offering his patients the highest standard of care while making them feel as comfortable as possible. While the dentist can be daunting, Dr. James believes in building strong relationships with his patients by bringing values, ethics, and a sense of humor to his practice.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. James enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and his partner and their bernedoodle, June. Some of his hobbies include hiking, cooking, and candle making.

Dr. Kevin Lee
Dr. Kevin Lee obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta. Prior to his dental education, he studied at the University of Calgary and the University of Alberta to obtain a BSc degree in Medical Sciences.
Dr. Lee was born in South Korea but immigrated to Canada at the age of 3 and has called Calgary his home ever since!
Dr. Lee enjoys all aspects of dentistry and strives to help patients achieve their oral health goals. In addition to general dental treatments, Dr Lee is a certified Invisalign provider, and he has also obtained his certification for Botox neuromodulator therapies from the University of Alberta to treat TMJ and cosmetic concerns.
As a big sports lover, Dr. Lee grew up playing many sports such as basketball, soccer, volleyball and tennis. However, nowadays he can mostly be found playing a round of golf with friends and family in his free time.
Dr. Keelan O'malley
Dr. Keelan O’Malley is a Halifax native and Calgary-based dentist with advanced training in oral surgery and sedation. He earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from McGill University, followed by a one-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency and a one-year oral and maxillofacial surgery internship at the Eastman Institute for Oral Health in Rochester, New York.
Dr. O’Malley’s practice is focused on surgical procedures, including wisdom teeth removal, dental implants, bone grafting, and gum treatments. He also provides IV conscious sedation, allowing patients to undergo treatment comfortably and with minimal anxiety.
Known for his efficient, precise approach, Dr. O’Malley prioritizes both clinical excellence and patient experience—delivering high-quality care in a setting that feels calm, clear, and reassuring.
Outside the clinic, he enjoys hiking in the mountains, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time with his corgi, Toast.

Dental Assistants
Ivanna
Ivanna graduated from KDM Dental College and recently received her Orthodontic Module certificate from Columbia College. She has been a part of Viva Dental since 2019.
Ivanna is delighted to work with the rest of the team in providing exceptional patient care. She is extremely supportive, compassionate and gentle.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her two kids and husband outdoors. She also likes hiking, spending time with friends and she aspires to travel all over the world.
"I will do my best to ensure that our patients fully understand their dental treatment and options. I look forward to meeting all of you and giving you the best care."
Iva
Iva graduated from KDM Dental College with an Orthodontic Module and she has enjoyed working in the dental field for over 8 years.
Iva was born and raised in Cuba. Her native language is Spanish.
On her time off, she enjoys going for walks, writing poems, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys learning and keeping herself updated with new dental skills.
She is a person who agrees ”Knowledge is the key and power to success in life”.

Alona
Alona graduated from KDM Dental College and became a registered dental assistant in 2019.
She enjoys getting to know each patient and providing a personal touch for each visit. She appreciates the team approach to providing the highest level of care possible.
In her spare time, Alona enjoys skiing, being outdoors, and, most of all, loves spending time with her family and friends.

Jamie
Jamie started her dental journey back in 2009, completing her Dental Assistant course in Regina, SK at Saskatchewan Polytechnic (SIAST). Her first job was in Oral Surgery in Saskatoon, where she worked for 7.5 years before making her move out to Calgary!
Jamie met Dr. James back in 2021 and has had the pleasure of working on and off with him ever since.
Jamie is a mamma of two littles, ages 2 and 5. She enjoys living a healthy and active lifestyle. Outside of work Jamie and her family enjoy camping, boating and golfing.

Dental Hygienists
Aqsa
Aqsa began her career as a hygienist in 2021 working alongside a periodontist in Toronto. She’s passionate about patient education and periodontal care. She enjoys helping patients improve their oral health and feel confident in their smiles. Outside of work, Aqsa loves enjoying time with her family, scenic drives and nature. Aqsa values patient comfort and education.
Selina
Selina began her dental career in 2014 as a dental assistant, showcasing her dedication to patient care. In 2019, she graduated dental hygiene in Toronto, emphasizing preventive care and patient education. Outside of work, Selina loves being with her family and friends, going to the gym and enjoying motherhood.
Office Administration
Leigh-Anne
Leigh-Anne has been blessed to find a passion working in many different facets of the dental field since 2019 and completed the Dental Practice Management program through the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Dentistry in 2022 as a result of this passion.
Leigh-Anne holds the perspective that health should be approached in a holistic way; an approach which she brings to her work in the dental field by coordinating teams and assisting patients in seeing their oral health as an integral component of this approach.
In her spare time, Leigh-Anne enjoys boxing, writing, reading, hiking, thrifting and refurbishing furniture.
“I believe that empowering patients in their health journey is of the utmost importance in helping them see and follow through with their treatment plans to achieve optimal functionality and wellness in a compassionate and accessible environment.”
Amanda
Amanda graduated with Honors from Columbia College’s Dental Assisting program in 2019. In recent years, she has served as the Awards Chair on the Calgary Dental Assistants Association Board, where they advocate for and guide Dental Assistants throughout their careers. Amanda brings her sparkling personality and sense of humour to the dental field while ensuring that patients receive the best care possible. Amanda has recently joined the Viva Dental Administrative Team, which allows her to showcase her ability to wear many hats within the dental industry. Outside of work, Amanda enjoys reading, camping, crocheting, and spending time with her partner and her dog, Ares.
