Direct Insurance Billing at Viva Dental

At Viva Dental, we aim to make dental care as accessible and straightforward as possible. Our team is available to answer general questions about dental insurance and, where permitted, submit claims on your behalf as a courtesy to help streamline the administrative process.

We offer direct insurance billing with most major providers. Please bring your most current insurance information to each appointment to help ensure accurate submission of claims.

Assignment of Benefits

As a courtesy to our patients, Viva Dental is pleased to offer assignment of benefits when permitted by your insurance plan. With appropriate financial consents in place, this allows our office to communicate with your insurance provider and submit claims directly on your behalf.

When assignment of benefits is accepted by your insurer, we may receive payment directly for the insured portion of treatment. Any remaining balance not covered by your plan is the patient’s responsibility and is due at the time of the appointment.

If your insurance provider does not permit assignment of benefits, full payment is required at the time of service, and your insurer will reimburse you directly according to the terms of your plan.

Understanding Your Insurance Coverage

Dental insurance is a contract between you and your insurance provider. While our team is happy to offer general information and assist with submissions, we do not have access to all plan details, including annual maximums, frequency limits, or exact coverage percentages.

We encourage patients to review their individual plan information and contact their insurer directly with questions about coverage.

If requested, our team can submit a predetermination prior to treatment. This provides an estimate of what your insurance plan may cover before care begins.
